It’s time to step into the world of Paddy Power Games as we unveil our blockbuster casino-themed ad campaign that could give the Ocean’s franchise a run for its money in terms of star power.
George Clooney might just have a rival on his hands in the form of cockney legend Danny Dyer, who takes centre stage as the unlikeliest of casino masterminds.
Get your popcorn out this weekend because it’s landing on your screen in full glorious technicolour as lord of the manor Danny Dyer invites you into a vision of bold and unapologetic mischief with “all sorts of games for all sorts of treacles”.
Joined along the way by a star-studded line up of Coleen Rooney, Gemma Collins and Peter Crouch, the master of ceremonies Dyer appears dripping in swagger as he walks through a larger-than-life Paddy Power world – think Eastenders Queen Vic meets the bright lights of Las Vegas – and takes viewers on a joyride of ostentatious style and chaos.
“I’ve been watching the same game almost my entire life, so it’s nice to have a bit of variety for once, and being back with the Paddy Power crew to film such a glamourous ad was brilliant!” she said, having played a starring role in our BIGGEST EVER Justice Refund at the start of the season.
“I loved getting dressed up and stepping into the madness of a Paddy Power casino world – Danny played the role of casino boss perfectly, plus I got to reprise my role as head of investigations….what more could you want!”
While the definitive big man with a great touch, Peter Crouch, was using his considerable frame to rake in piles of chips at the poker table.
“I’ve done a few Paddy Power ads before, but this one was next-level fun. Sitting there in a casino, watching Danny Dyer play the boss, it was absolute madness, and I felt like I’d stepped into an Oceans movie – except with far more laughs and far less chance of getting thrown out – well maybe not if you’d seen the chaos!
“I had an absolute ball filming it with a stellar line up of people – I bet no-one every thought they would see me, the GC, Danny Dyer and Coleen Rooney in an advert together!”
