VIPs is heavily marketed towards slot games – pretty much all the real estate on the homepage is taken up with them – so I wanted to give that a fair crack of the whip.

Wacky Panda (Microgaming) caught my eye because it’s got a great name and the graphics looked really inviting, although the gameplay was a little more simple than I first expected. It’s a very simple, three-reel slot game but it does have an incredibly small minimum bet of 3c, which means players can sit here and play for ages without losing too much. However, my luck was out so I tried my hand at Gorilla Kingdom (NetEnt).

This game allowed for 20c spins and was graphically richer than Wacky Panda, and included five reels for a bit more action. There was a little bit more going on here, with some free spin symbols and jungle tunes, but after a few spins and even fewer winnings, I decided to explore the table games section of the website.
